The Jed Foundation is a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for the United States’ teens and young adults, giving providing them with the skills and support needed to thrive today…and tomorrow. JED believes that we can promote mental health as well prevent suicide among teens and young adults by equipping them as individuals, mobilizing communities and influences in their lives, and strengthening their school campuses.

The ASFP is a voluntary health organization that provides individuals affected by suicide with a nationwide community (empowered by research, education, and advocacy to take action against this prominent cause of death). The AFSP also creates a culture that is smart about mental health through its ability to engage in its following core strategies: funding scientific research, educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide.
